Proposal Development Associate I- III:

Location: Dublin, Ireland (In Office, Flexible Working Policy)

About Us: We are leaders in central laboratory services for clinical trials, dedicated to providing high-quality solutions that drive advancements in healthcare. We are seeking a talented Proposal Development Associate to join our dynamic team in Dublin.

Position Overview: This unique role offers the opportunity to contribute to our proposal development group, focused on central laboratory services. We welcome candidates with varying levels of experience and abilities, provided they possess a strong understanding of central laboratory clinical trial services.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and prepare client-focused proposals, budgets and client grids for new business opportunities and ensure all requested information is provided in the final proposal within given timeframe.

  • Adhere to the proposal process.

  • Chair kick-off and resource meetings and coordinate the participation of appropriate personnel in the proposal development process.

  • Set-up and attend clinical strategy meetings for key/ enhanced opportunities.

  • Liaise with the appropriate personnel including sales, strategic proposal development and operations throughout the proposal generation to ensure that the proposal and strategy meets the business needs in line with triage priority.

  • Prepare costs for proposals by interacting with operational departments to coordinate costs and assumptions.

  • Submit final proposal, on time, to Account Manager or designee.

  • Coordinate and prepare budgets and specifications for contracts for new business awards (where appropriate)

  • Coordinate and participate in negotiations and discussions with clients as required.

  • Attend bid defense and other client meetings in a support role when required.

  • Clarify contract specifications with the Manager, Proposals; Project Manager; and/or Account Manager (where appropriate)

  • Solicit input and review of proposals, budgets and contracts (where appropriate) from the relevant operational departments including Manager, Proposals and Account Manager

  • Maintain filing and tracking tools in accordance with accepted practices.

  • Undertake other reasonably related duties as may be assigned from time to time.

  • Ability and willingness to travel at least 5% of the time (international and domestic: fly and drive)

Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree educated or qualified by experience.

  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding or direct experience with central laboratory services within global clinical trial delivery.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to read and translate clinical protocols into service plans for required laboratory services.

  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Communication Skills: Strong communicator, comfortable presenting work in a global setting.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
